Members, roles, and invitations
Choose who can edit the band, run Live play, or follow along without changing anything.
What each role can do
- Admin: manages members, roles, billing, settings, and Live play. An admin is the conductor who starts and controls a session.
- Editor: manages songs, setlists, gigs, the public page, booking enquiries, and private audio.
- Viewer: reads songs and setlists, listens to available private audio, and follows Live play without editing the band.
A band must always have at least one admin. Bandpit blocks removing or demoting the last one.
Invite a bandmate
- 1Open the band's Settings page.
- 2Enter the member's email address and choose a role.
- 3If the email already belongs to a Bandpit account, the member is added immediately. Otherwise Bandpit sends an expiring invitation.
