Songs and arrangement versions

Keep lyrics, chords, tabs, tempo, key, and different arrangements under one song.

One song, several arrangements

A song is the permanent library item. Each song can contain several arrangement versions, such as full band, acoustic, or a revised live arrangement.

Every version has its own label, tempo, time signature, key, lyrics, chords, and tabs. One version is marked current, but a setlist always pins the exact version selected for that slot.

Structure and bar counts

Use section tags such as [Verse 16], [Chorus: 8], or [Solo 12 bars]. Bandpit uses the bar count, time signature, and tempo to estimate duration and drive Live scroll timing.

  • Supported sections include intro, verse, pre-chorus, chorus, bridge, solo, instrumental, break, interlude, outro, and custom sections.
  • Legacy or imported material can use inferred bar counts. Check any section marked as needing review before relying on it live.
  • Archiving removes a song from active choices without deleting its history.

Free and Pro access

Free bands can keep up to 10 active songs and use lyrics. Pro and trial bands have unlimited active songs plus chords and tabs.
