Fan notifications and follower exports
Let fans follow an artist by city and receive useful gig emails with explicit consent.
How following works
The fan enters an email address and city on a public band or gig page, accepts the consent text, and confirms the email. An unconfirmed request expires after 24 hours.
A confirmed follower can receive a new-show email for the selected city and a reminder the day before the gig. Accepted guest appearances can notify the guest artist's followers too.
Delivery safeguards
- Messages are deduplicated for each follower, gig, and notification type.
- Failed new-show messages can be retried up to three times.
- A tour import sends no more than one new-show alert per city.
- Every email contains a visible unsubscribe link and one-click unsubscribe support.
Use the follower list
Editors can see confirmed followers and cities, then export up to 10,000 rows as a UTF-8 CSV. The export is protected against spreadsheet formula injection.
