Report a public artist page or gig
Send an anonymous safety report and understand what Bandpit can temporarily hide while it is reviewed.
Send an anonymous report
- 1Open the published artist page or gig that needs review.
- 2Use Report this page or Report this gig in the footer.
- 3Choose the closest reason and describe exactly what should be checked.
- 4Send the report. It enters the Bandpit owner's private review inbox.
The report does not ask for your name or email, so Bandpit cannot reply to you directly. Do not include passwords, payment details, or other sensitive personal information.
What a public suspension changes
The owner can temporarily hide the reported band's public artist page, EPK, public gigs, calendar, directory presence, and artist cross-links while reviewing a concern.
Suspension does not delete the private band room, songs, recordings, setlists, members, or billing. The action is reversible and written to an internal moderation audit log.
Privacy and limits
- A public report is retained for 180 days.
- Bandpit stores a protected duplicate-prevention fingerprint, not the reporter's raw network address, in the report.
- Repeated submissions are temporarily limited to protect the review inbox.
- Use signed-in Feedback instead when you need a private reply about your own account or band.
